I looked for The Chalice and The Blade and found wildly different prices for what appears to be the same book. What book are you reading?

Great question, Gay! I haven't officially announced our next book club book (probably next week), but we just decided on "The Chalice and the Blade" by Riane Eisler. I'm so excited to share this book with community! Here's a link to the book: https://amzn.to/3Kq3g8f

It's a big, wonderful tome, so we'll plan to give ourselves plenty of reading time and will likely meet to explore toward the end of January! ✨

I love that "grandmothered in" instead of grandfathered!

Love what you shared here in this post. I feel the 'Chalice and Blade' in this writing. Not that you are quoting the book, but being that I'm reading it, it's message is clear, I see it in these words. But of course in your own manner, experience and way. We are so on the same page! 💜

Like I said in book club, The Chalice and the Blade really does inform a lot of my work! 😁 Love that you’re hearing that in this piece.

Wow… this hit home! I too have felt that Otherness, when I was young and now. Somewhere in between I bowed down to the pressure of the culture, but even then there was a knowing that whatever I was doing was not what my life was really about. Thanks for naming it. Love the direction you are taking this. ❤️

Ooh, I love this. It is definitely a trap set for us to fall into… even when we know and trust ourselves, there are so many voices all around urging us not to See.

Good for you for finding your way back and living into your Truth!👏
