“The revolution is quiet and it’s happening inside us all the time.” This!!! 💯!! This piece is so freaking full of wisdom and essential reminders. And, your grandma was friends with Susan Sedona-Boulet?! That woman’s art has rocked my world again and again over the years. So fun to learn that and to see her powerful imagery here. ✨🙏

I love this idea that underneath all the shouting and overt displays of dualism, something much more powerful and important is happening. Change doesn’t happen at the level of policy. It happens at the level of consciousness. Then policy change is easy!

And yes, I grew up hearing my grandmother talk about “Susan and Michael”, and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized she was talking about Susan Seddon Boulet and Michael Babcock! 🤩 Gammie gifted me one of Susan’s originals and it is my most cherished piece of art.

Oh! I’d love to see a picture of the original that you were gifted! How fabulous.

And yes, there’s always something so much more fascinating unfolding beneath the surface! As we both know!

I loved reading this Allysha. It's a journey unto itself. And a potent reminder to just listen. Or learn to listen. To connect, or learn to connect. This learning as more of a remembrance of what we already are and are capable of. This is the healing for ourselves and the world. Paying attention, pausing, listening, opening, receiving, giving, being grateful... Sacred reciprocity as communion! 💜

Beautifully said, Julie! The journey of re-membering... re-learning what we already know...

Such a gift of a practice, thank you so much for sharing this. I’ve had such a complex relationship with hearing and most importantly trusting my body’s wisdom and messages. It’s definitely a pattern of unlearning. Just getting quiet enough to hear is so telling, and my belly speaks to me so much when I actually slow down and let it. Xx

Amazing, Lauren! So beautiful to hear that you recognize how much information is coming through when you actually listen. It is definitely a process of "unlearning" for all of as, as we allow our own voices to ring clearly above the noise. Blessings for your journey back to your own deep knowing, Sister! 💜 ✨

This was so needed today. I had a reflection yesterday as I have been struggling with the whole concept of a higher power and I had the notion that my gut/intuition is my higher power. And I immediately was the FUCK YES IT IS.

I love my brain but I’ve given it too much leeway most days when I really should have been listening to my body, my gut, and my heart.

So thanks for this. Gonna bookmark it for later as well.

Yay! So glad to hear this, Bekah! Intution as Higher Power is such an accessible and real way to relate to the Divine. We were taught to turn toward our minds, but the most trustworthy thing your mind can do is turn you back toward your gut. Blessings for your journey of connecting, re-connecting, and living from that place of Divine Knowing. 💜 ✨

This took me back to learning about the Gnostic Gospels in RE at school! Beautiful writing and this has given me a lot to think about - there is such wisdom here. Thank you also for tagging me; it’s so kind of you. x

For me, there's so much value in remembering that there was a Western Wisdom tradition which pointed us to the same deep knowing that so many indigenous traditions speak of. I'm so glad you have that learning to turn to as well. Grateful to connect with you here for this special event!

Thank you Allysha for this beautiful practice of remembering, listening and knowing. I didn’t have words for it but this speaks so much of my ongoing intention to rediscover and reconnect with my inner wisdom, to be led by trust in that sense of knowing, rather than overthinking xx

Mmm… beautiful, Lyndsay. There’s so much Wisdom inside of us if we can only allow ourselves to quiet enough to be guided by it. Glad to hear you’re engaging with this practice in your own life. 💜 ✨

Thank you for this! "We live in a culture that abdicates the responsibility that comes with Wisdom." As you say, listening deeply is a skill we all deserve to remember, and then following that voice becomes our response-ability. Loved this. Also, I never knew that root of heretic... how incredible, especially right now and especially for women. Thank you for writing this!

This is incredible, Allysha! I love your descriptions of listening to the belly and the body for our guidance. It is so subtle and takes practice, but it is so powerful when you find it. Blessings 🌹✨
