My personal journey to empowered embodiment and how incredibly lucky I was to have someone to See and support me in the process of embodying my Soul. Now, I'm paying it forward...
WOW, Allysha what a great gift your mom gave you! I think I might be envious! My mom did the opposite.
When I first heard those words, "you are not your body", I was stunned, as you were. And I was older and had already been on the spiritual path for awhile, so it sunk in fairly quickly. Of course, I am not my body, I am so much more. Speaking those words made it real. By that, I could see the patterning and conditioning that was set in place that told me otherwise. Quite the journey after that...
Amazing, Julie. It’s definitely a wild ride, isn’t it?! I am definitely lucky to be born into this conscious family. That in itself is often a wild ride, but it’s been a powerful journey!
What a powerful story and inheritance you received from your mom. And I love how you are paying it forward. Inspiring to see all the circles you’re gathering. ✨🙏✨
My mom (and my grandmother before her) fought long and hard to heal themselves. While I had a lot of other tumultuous elements in my childhood, their healing journeys were a big part of my upbringing. Though I didn’t always understand at the time why my mother was crying or going to yet another workshop, I learned so much about how to walk the Path from her example.
I sometimes feel that my family was just a generation ahead, and I’m so encouraged to see so many women around me on incredible healing journeys right now. They may not have had the luxury of learning this stuff young… but their kids will!
Loved reading this. How incredible to have had such an insightful mum from an early age!🥹When you said the bit about her pulling away quickly…ooof, I got goosebumps.
I remember in a womb healing class some years ago, the teacher telling her story of disassociation from the body. I thought, “Oh how awful it must have been to have lived like that!”
It would be in the days, months and years that followed that I would realise, that’s how I too had lived my life!
It’s definitely one of the reasons why I love my NLP work so much too, it’s sooo sensory and grounding.
Goodness me Jocelyn, I think we might need a Part 2 and 3 with you on my podcast - part 1 isn’t going to touch the surface with you!🤓
It’s crazy how common it is to leave the body. It’s an amazing facet of the human system and super useful in case of trauma, but without awareness we just don’t come back. I love things like that really ground us in the body. So glad you found NLP!
Looking forward to our interview later this month!
Big hugs to you then and your inner child who may have had a hard time feeling safe when you had adults who couldn't even feel safe in their bodies, themselves.

Yay! Thanks, Megan.
What a beautiful story and gift, Allysha. It almost made me cry!
💜 💜 💜
I love that your mom was able to do this for you. My poor mom was just struggling to stay in hers. What a beautiful blessing.

I can relate to this experience
You’re not alone, Sam, and you have done an amazing job becoming the one who is waking others up and bringing them back to themselves! 💜✨
This is the sweetest thing, thank you so much. 🙏

It’s so beautiful your mom helped you in that way! What a gift! 🥰
I definitely feel lucky at how awake and aware my mother and grandmother have been my whole life!
Wow, I have so many things to say…dm me?
Love it! Just reached out…
